Wedding photography has evolved over the decades and today the options available to a couple are virtually limitless. Wedding photography has emerged from the shadows as a legitimate art form in itself and there are many photographers around the world with their own unique style producing truly amazing images. Gallery Photography has always strived to combine the highest quality imagery with our own individual style and approach.
We understand that choosing the right photographer for your wedding can be a difficult decision. For us it’s all in the details. We prefer, for example, to meet every couple before the wedding day itself. This gives everybody the chance to put faces to names and to discuss any specific requirements. We believe that every wedding is a unique occasion and that every couple should have the right to expect something special.
Gallery Photography offers three wedding packages to suit every budget. We have separated the photographic and print options to make it easier for couples to select the right package for them. Couples can either pick prints for Gallery Photography to deliver before they leave Rhodes or simply select the no-print option and decide in their own time at a later date.
Every package includes the following as standard:
♦ individual consultation on Rhodes before the wedding day
♦ a USB flash drive (or disc if preferred) with every photograph taken by both of us on the day
♦ all photographs edited by us and delivered as print-ready jpegs
♦ an online slideshow with a unique URL to enable couples to view the finished images and make their print selection. The link can also be shared with family & friends as well as those unable to attend
♦ a signed copyright consent form which allows a couple to get their photographs printed by any third party

Engagement & bridal portraits on location
The most visually striking wedding imagery combines elements of portrait, fashion, architecture and landscape photography. Great imagery requires great light. Direct sunlight – particularly in southern Europe – can be harsh and unforgiving. Sunlight softens and diffuses as the day draws to a close. Shadows become longer. The colour of the sky starts to change. Ideally we would schedule every wedding to take place during the final hour before sunset! But we obviously have no control over the time and location of a wedding.
Gallery Photography is delighted to offer exclusive, wedding-themed photo sessions at any location on the island. This gives everybody the opportunity and the space to be as creative as possible – far away from the distractions of a wedding and at a time of day which enables us to utilise the amazing natural light for which Rhodes is famed.
Our aim is always to produce images which are both unique, individual and truly memorable. Rhodes itself provides one of the most beautiful and varied backdrops for any photo session. From the medieval splendour of the Old Town to the remote mountain villages and deserted sunset beaches along the west coast, we are always searching for new and inspiring locations.
Location photography usually requires a little advance planning. We’d always prefer to meet a couple beforehand to discuss ideas and confirm times, as well as to talk about the look and style of the final photographs. Logistically we are more than happy to drive you to a location – if you don’t mind sharing the back seat of our VW Beetle with a ton of equipment!

Resources
For the technically minded amongst you, Gallery Photography are happy to use and endorse Nikon cameras for our wedding photography. We use the Nikon D3X & D3 cameras with Pocket Wizard radio triggers. All images are edited with Capture One Pro software.
Wedding photography is hard work. Particularly on a Greek island. Situations can sometimes be challenging and stressful due to the heat and time restraints. But it should always be fun, rewarding and creative. There are now so many amazing wedding photographers producing exceptional work.
